Did you think that all the weird things that could possibly happen in the Eurovision Song Contest had already happened? Think again.

Eurovision has somehow out-Eurovisioned itself with the latest plan from Belarus act Ivan – who aims to perform his song naked with live wolves on stage.

The 21 year-old singer can be seen rehearsing his act in footage from LifeNews, totally in the buff with a wolf who occasionally seems to bite at him. Gulp.

“It's undoubtedly an experience, a great experience,” he told the AFP.

“Especially as I have never performed on stage before in my birthday suit and with wild animals.”

While Eurovision spokesperson Paul Jordan said that nudity in the show would be “not appropriate”, Ivan claimed that his act is all about ‘art’.

“It's not about vulgarity or sex at all,” he said, alluding to his own nakedness. “We want this to be art, not porn.”

Even if the nudity isn’t outright banned, the whole ‘live wolves’ thing might prove a no-go in the final – the show reportedly has a ban on animals, with a previous performance of the song instead featuring wolf designs on the backing screens.

Will Ivan manage to perform as he intends to? And will it be the oddest part of the night? Time will tell.

The Eurovision Song Contest final takes place on May 14.
