Most Manchester United fans seem happy that the club are closing in on the transfer of Romelu Lukaku , but a few are understandably wary.

Because while the big Belgian possesses all of ability to be a huge success at Old Trafford, there does seem to be fairly large question mark placed against him. Namely, can he do it against the big teams?

Last season, 21 of his 25 Premier League goals came against the bottom 13 teams in the league, with plenty often questioning his contribution against the bigger sides.

But how big has that contribution been?

We've looked back at his six years in England, and charted how he's done against the big boys.

The big man couldn't face his parent club when he was on loan at both West Brom and Everton, but did come face-to-face with them after completing his permanent move to the latter.

Notching only one win in those six games, he failed to score a Premier League goal against his former employers in six appearances against them for Everton, although he did net a brace in an FA Cup win in March 2016.

Lukaku v Tottenham: 8 games, 1 goal, 0 wins

Spurs certainly aren't Lukaku's favourite opponents, with no wins picked up against them in eight league appearances, as he's lost four and drawn four.
