Claudio Ranieri says Shinji Okazaki "swaps places with brother" - unearths huge Leicester City 'conspiracy'

The Italian has an unusual theory as to what is behind the Japan striker's dips in form

There is a conspiracy at Leicester City!

Well that's according to boss Claudio Ranieri, who revealed Japanese forward Shinji Okazaki "swaps places" with his brother whenever he flies home.

The Italian boss was discussing his striker's form in a press conference, which you can see in all its hilariousness in the above video.

In it Ranieri makes a startling revelation. He says: "Everytime he comes back from a long journey, he is not Okazaki. He is his brother."

The answer gets a laugh out of the room of journalists, but we're not convinced he's joking... no seriously...

He goes on, insisting that the striker is not injured.

And adds: "He's not Shinji, he's another player and every match I have to put somebody on the stand - only for this reason."

Now the conspiracy theorists here will know that Okazaki was NOT included in Leicester City's squad for Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Chelsea.
