Burnley are set to land Leeds striker Chris Wood in a £15m deal.

Leeds rejected Burnley's last offer of £12m plus add-ons for Wood but are braced for a new bid this weekend.

Wood, 25, is keen on a move to the Premier League and has been frustrated at what he sees as Leeds pricing him out of a big career move.

Burnley are hopeful they can get a £15m deal done with add-ons even though it would be a huge blow to Leeds' promotion clubs.

New Zealand international Wood got 30 goals last season and Leeds do not want to sell as they have their own Premier League ambitions.

But Burnley have targeted Wood as a replacement for Andre Gray who joined Watford for £18m.

Gray's departure has left Burnley boss Sean Dyche keen to strengthen his squad and believes Wood is the ideal replacement.
