THERE are few managers more revered in the world of football than the late Sir Bobby Robson.
The former England boss enjoyed a career which spanned 35 years and led to him coaching in four different countries.
He rose to prominence at Ipswich Town and led the Tractor Boys to European glory when they won the UEFA Cup in 1981.
He would go on to win league titles with PSV Eindhoven in Holland and Porto in Portugal before leading Barcelona to the Cup Winners' Cup in 1997.
During such a storied career, Sir Bobby was intertwined with figures who would go on to become some of modern-day football’s greatest managers.
Like Sir Alex Ferguson, many of the players who worked under him are now top bosses in their own right.
The two stars of the Robson lineage are Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola.
The duo enjoyed a fierce rivalry when they locked horns while in charge of Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.

Jose Mourinho
The Special One.
Mourinho earned his big break in football when he became Robson's interpreter in 1992 at Sporting Lisbon.
Robson was sacked from that role but rebounded with a successful spell at Porto where Mourinho stayed with him before joining him in Barcelona.

Mourinho showed his future coaching credentials by discussing tactics and helping plan games for opponents with the Englishman.
The Portuguese boss would form a strong bond with Louis van Gaal before beginning his own managerial career with Benfica.
The rest is history. Mourinho has racked up eight league titles, 11 domestic cups and two Champions League trophies in a storied managerial career with Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and now Manchester United.
Pep Guardiola
The current Manchester City boss learned a lot from Robson.
He was one the key players in the Camp Nou side that claimed the Cup Winners' Cup in 1997.
‘It was a privilege to spend a year with him. It was a fantastic year. He was a very experienced trainer with clear ideas,’ said Guardiola when Sir Bobby passed away in 2009.
The former Bayern Munich manager has built his impressive CV on clear ideas and thinking.
Guardiola revolutionised the beautiful game with the creation of a Barcelona side which rocked world football.
The template was created by Johan Cruyff but Guardiola developed a team which could pass any team in history off the park and took Lionel Messi to a different level under his stewardship.
In his career he was won six league titles, seven domestic cups and two Champions League trophies.
Luis Enrique
The Barcelona boss played under Robson during his time at the Camp Nou and has emerged from the shadows of Guardiola to lead Barca to even more success.
His style is similar to the Manchester City boss but has Luis Suarez and Neymar in attack to compliment Messi.
After a trying time at Roma, Enrique restored his reputation at Celta Vigo before returning to Catalonia.
Enrique has won two league titles, three domestic cups and a Champions League trophy.

Steve Clarke - The former Chelsea assistant boss worked with Mourinho and was a scout for Robson at Newcastle.
He had spells in charge at West Brom and Reading.
Laurent Blanc - The Frenchman played under Robson at Barcelona and has managed the French national team and Paris Saint Germain.
Gary Speed - The late former Everton and Newcastle man played under Robson on Tyneside and was making great waves with the Welsh national team before his untimely death in 2011.

Brendan Rodgers
The current Celtic boss is one of three managers currently excelling from the Mourinho coaching tree.
Mourinho tempted Rodgers away from his role at Reading as technical director and he was involved in the youth set-up at Stamford Bridge before coming reserve team manager.
The Northern Irishman was tempted away by Watford in 2008.
He's enjoyed a successful spell at Watford before almost guiding Liverpool to the Premier League title in 2014.
Andre Villas Boas
The bright young hope of management followed in his mentor Mourinho's footsteps by leading Porto to a domestic treble.
He then headed to Chelsea but a nightmare spell in charge led to his dismissal within a season.
He enjoyed some success at Tottenham Hotspur before losing his job after failing to come to terms with Gareth Bale's departure to Real Madrid.
He showed his ability by winning a title in Russia with Zenit St Petersburg before leaving the club this summer.
Aitor Karanka
Jose Mourinho's assistant manager at Real Madrid has carved his own reputation in management with Middlesbrough.
He led his troops to the Premier League last season after finishing second in the Championship.
