IT'S not often goalkeepers get to walk away with the match ball after a hat trick.

But that's exactly what Dundee United hero Cammy Bell did yesterday after he incredibly saved three penalty kicks to help his side to three points at Dunfermline.

Bell saved spot kicks from Gavin Reilly, Nicky Clark and Paul McMullan in a stunning display of shotstopping.

United walked off with the three points after a 3-1 win and, afterwards, Bell admitted: "I just can't stop smiling."

He said: "For me it will probably never happen again.

"I'm delighted with it - I can't stop smiling and it's something I'll remember for the rest of my career.

"It'll certainly be up there with the best days of my career."

Bell's manager Ray McKinnon paid tribute to his keeper. He said: "Cammy was magnificent and it was a special day for him.
