Pregnant Katherine Jenkins, 37, displays her blossoming baby bump in elegant red ballgown as she takes to the stage for festive concert in Liverpool

She recently confirmed she is expecting her second child with husband of three years Andrew Levitas.

And Katherine Jenkins was truly glowing in pregnancy on Wednesday, as she put on a stunning performance at the Philarmonic Hall in Liverpool.

The opera singer, 37, displayed her blossoming baby bump in an elegant red ballgown as belted out a number of festive hits for the crowd.

The Welsh beauty was truly stunning as she embarked on her performance, in a show-stopping floor-length gown.

The red number pulled into a deep V neckline, to give a flash of her cleavage underneath, before cascading out into a stunning full pleated skirt, which softly skimmed her growing bump for all to see.

Keeping all eyes on her look, Katherine accessorised with nothing but dazzling silver drop earrings as she embarked on another winning performance.

Singing a selection of festive favourites and happily chatting to the audience, Katherine showed no signs of fatigue from her second pregnancy as she commanded the stage in Liverpool.

Further gushing of her excitement, she wrote in the caption: 'Andrew and I are overjoyed that our family will be growing in 2018 with the addition of our second child - a baby brother for our little superhero Aaliyah!!!'

Katherine revealed ahead of her announcement that she would love to have another baby - two years after welcoming her first child.

She told Hello! magazine: 'It's all about timing, but I would really love to have a second child and for Aaliyah to have a sibling, to have a friend in the world.'

Reflecting on motherhood, Katherine admitted she did not expect 'to feel so chilled and relaxed about life' after starting a family.

'My husband and I love being parents and Aaliyah makes us so happy. She's fun, kind and affectionate - and a mummy's girl,' the Welsh star said.

Katherine and painter Andrew married in a stunning ceremony at Hampton Court in September 2014, before welcoming their first child, Aaliyah Reign, almost exactly a year later.
