Washing the drama right out of their hair? Love Island's female stars head to the salon to spruce up their locks to 'distract from current tensions in the villa' following SHOCK re-coupling
Love Island fans have seen two of the show's couples torn apart in a shock re-coupling that took place on Friday night.
And seeming to need a distraction from all the drama, the show's female islanders were spotted heading to a salon to spruce themselves up on Saturday.
Heading out in Palma, Mallorca, the girls had their hair and nails tended to and their pampering session no doubt came at a good time, given that tensions in the villa are currently sky high.

Amber, who recently found herself torn away from her co-star boyfriend Kem Cetinay, flaunted her golden glow from filming in the sun for the last few weeks in a pair of khaki green shorts and a form-fitting cream top that included tie-up detailing.
She wore a thick gold choker necklace around her neck and sported a pair of mirrored aviator shades, while scraping her hair back in tight braids.
Olivia teased a look at her incredibly toned stomach in a black crop top and low-rise denim shorts, while Tyla donned a floral jersey dress that sheathed her slender frame.
Gabby put on a daring display in her perilously low-cut beach dress and Montana was seen in high spirits as she joked with her girl pals and crew members on their way into the salon.
According to an insider, the gang are 'treated to hair or nail treatments at the producers' discretion' to keep them looking their best during filming.
They exclusively told MailOnline: 'On this occasion, to take their minds off the recent drama in the villa, the girls were taken to a hair salon.'
While their outing won't feature on the show, the girls were chaperoned by members of the Love Island crew, as any of the cast would be upon leaving the villa at any time.
It comes after the arrival of three newcomers has well and truly shaken up the Love Island villa.
Along with the addition of new boys Jamie and Theo, the islanders welcomed former TOWIE star Georgia Harrison into the fold, but she later landed herself in hot water by breaking up Kem and Amber - who had recently just made their romance official.
The couples had been feeling the heat following the addition of Theo and Jamie, as Theo had made it very clear that he wasn't afraid to step on another guy's toes to get his girl.
He had cast his eye on Camilla, Montana and Tyla, with tensions rising between the sprinter and Jonny, as he decided to make his move on Tyla before approaching Jonny first - who had been coupled up with her.
However, the muscular hunk from Bath wasn't the only new addition that the islanders needed to be wary of, as they were joined by reality star Georgia just moments before she was forced to choose one boy to couple up with.
Gatecrashing the villa's white party, while standing out in a sultry red dress, Georgia was instructed to kick off the latest re-coupling and choose one guy to pair with.
Explaining her decision, she reasoned: 'I haven't got a lot to go by yet, but he's got good banter, he's kind-hearted and being new, I don't feel like I have to play it safe.'
She then revealed that she had chosen Kem, much to the shock of his girlfriend Amber, as she had just been swept off her feet by the hairdresser who had pulled out all the stops to ask her to be his girlfriend.
While he attempted to reassure her by planting a kiss on her lips before joining Georgia, Amber's feathers were well and truly ruffled.
As Georgia attempted to clear the air, she hit back, 'Don't speak to me,' before storming off with Tyla in tow.
Georgia had replied: 'That's a bit rude,' but that only angered Amber more as she fired back: 'That's my boyfriend. You're f**king rude. If anyone is a b***end, it's f**king you babe.'
She had made a reference to the comment Jonny had made about Theo, after his co-star announced he wanted to couple up with Tyla.
Theo had said on picking Tyla: 'I want to couple up with this person because we get on really well, we have good banter, I see some things in her which I like and after a bit of time, I think she will get on with me as well.'
Silently fuming as he waited out his turn to choose a girl, Jonny was urged by Jamie to 'calm down', before he launched into a tirade against Theo.
Left with Amber to pair with, Jonny began: 'I wasn't given a lot of choice due to a certain gigantic b***end,' but he was instantly interrupted by Theo who jumped to his feet and squared up to Jonny.
'Who you calling a b***end? Dry your tears mate,' He had teased, before being separated by his fellow islanders, who were keen to stop the tense confrontation from boiling over.
Elsewhere, the remaining couples had appeared quite content with their pairs, with many staying in the same couple and Jamie choosing Camilla, after two successful dates with her.
Giving his reasons for choosing the blonde beauty, former Taking New York star Jamie said: 'I came into the villa with a lot of curiosity about a certain someone. Two dates later turned into a lot more intrigue, I want to see where that might lead.'
She was thrilled to be chosen by Jamie, having confessed earlier on in the episode that she was now feeling ready to 'move forward' from her heartbreak over Jonny and embrace new opportunities.
Chris, meanwhile, chose to stand by his current flame Olivia, as he gushed: 'She knows I miss my family like mad and to wake up with her everyday is a comfort I want to continue.
'I truly believe she is the most beautiful girl I have ever met in my life.'
His sweet speech was met with a kiss from Olivia, who was no doubt pleased to be back by her beau's side.
Marcel once again chose girlfriend Gabby, but used the moment to reflect on their turbulent time of late - after it was revealed he had kissed another girl twice in Casa Amor.
He said: 'After a week of absolute craziness and me acting like a total idiot, she forgave me and I want to pay her back for her forgiveness.'
Alex decided to stay put with Montana, after their relationship has been going from strength to strength since his arrival.
'Before I even came i here, I had my eye on her and she gave me the opportunity to take it further with her,' he said. 'I want to repay the favour.'
Love Island continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
