Yohan Cabaye was involved in an angry confrontation with a Crystal Palace supporter following their loss to Swansea City, it is understood.
Eyewitnesses have told Sportsmail that Cabaye, 30, had an expletive-laden argument with a fan in the Holmesdale End after full-time.
It was after a barrage of abuse was aimed at the Frenchman throughout the 2-1 defeat, which left Palace a point above the Premier League's drop zone.
