If Paul Hollywood wants to spend some of his Channel 4 Great British Bake Off dough on a new home, the West property where he made his name has come onto the market for £5 million.

The spectacular Harptree Court, where Bake Off was filmed, is available for the first time in nearly 100 years.

Linda and Charles Hill have decided to sell their family home, which was used as the location for series three and four of the popular baking show.

Upmarket estate agent Knight Frank is selling the property, located in the pretty village of East Harptree in the Mendip Hills.

Hollywood, who was the only Bake Off presenter to jump ship to Channel 4 for a reported £1.2 million per year when the show left the BBC, would feel right at home in the magnificent kitchen at the £5million property.

The home has nine bedrooms, seven bathrooms and six reception rooms.

There are stables, spring-fed lakes, a tennis court and a walled garden.

The Hills have also run a plush bed and breakfast operation from the site, and in 2011 installed a luxury treehouse in the large gardens.
