LeVel, inside Preston Guild Hall, has space for 500 people and includes a laser game arena, indoor golf, bowling alley and an indoor assault course.

General manager Joe Fleetwood said: “Our aim was to create the ultimate unique, bespoke, indoor entertainment destination that could cater for all ages. We wanted to include the best and most popular high-end activities around, and allow people to experience them at an affordable price.

“In the way Level brings all these elements together under one roof, there’s nothing else quite like it in the UK at the moment.”

The Lord Street side of the Guild Hall has seen a complete revamp to fit it out, costing Guild Hall owner Simon Rigby £5million.

Mr Rigby said: “Level is an investment in the heart of the new leisure quarter of Preston. Combined with Preston Guild Hall there is something for everyone all under one roof.

“We believe this cements Preston’s Harris Quarter as a destination for the whole of Lancashire. The investment being made in the area, by both the private sector and Lancashire Country Council, means that Preston is a place we can all be proud of.”

LeVel is to have opening hours from first-thing until late on Mondays to Thursdays and then 24-hour opening from Friday morning until midnight on Sunday.

Mr Fleetwood said: “The idea is that people will be able to come and enjoy the different activities during the day and then stay to listen to some live music at night. There’s the potential to do so much at the venue. Plans are also in place to add a fourth level, which will be home to another adventure experience that we hope to open in spring next year.”

LeVel is due to open on Friday 8 December.

What’s on each level?

Level one – the basement will be home to End of Days, a laser game experience and a 12-hole indoor crazy golf course themed around Preston’s landmarks. Also has a bar area, retro games arcade and two private party and karaoke rooms.

Level two – the ground floor where you come in, has Odin’s Bowl an eight-lane bowling alley and a large sports bar. Also home to the Spare Room, a VIP area with two private bowling lanes. Mundo’s Street Kitchen will be serving and there’s Pointer and Co, a gaming area with dart boards and shuttle boards.

Level three – Daredevil is a challenging assault course similar to Ninja Warrior UK – one for beginners and another for more experienced fitness fans. There’s also going to be a children’s soft play area.
