West Ham and Liverpool look set to miss out on Real Madrid starlet Martin Odegaard, with a loan spell in Holland now looking most likely.

The two Premier League clubs have been strongly linked with the Norwegian wonderkid, who is yet to feature for Madrid in the league this season.

So the Spanish club are looking to send the 18-year-old out on loan when the window opens and both West Ham and Liverpool had emerged as potential destinations.

But now AS have reported that the former Stromsgodset youngster is on his way to Holland, with either Ajax or Heerenveen ready to land him.

Both of them are in advanced negotiations to land the teenager who will then decide which club to join in the New Year.
