Chelsea and West Ham monitoring out-of-contract Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac

Chelsea and West Ham are interested in Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac.

The 23-year-old is yet to agree a new contract with the German club and his current deal expires at the end of the season.

Liverpool and Roma have already been linked with the Bosnian, but Schalke are trying to agree fresh terms.

However, according to Bild, they will have now to fight off interest from Chelsea and West Ham too.

The Premier League pair have been alerted to the left-back's contract situation and they are keen to snap him up on a free transfer next summer.

Schalke, meanwhile, are hoping to hold more talks with the player this month in the hope they can convince him to stay.
