BREXIT DIGS
Paddy Power put the boot into England ahead of Six Nations showdown
PADDY Power have put the boot into England ahead of our Six Nations showdown this weekend.
The cheeky Irish bookies produced a series of posters in Dublin taunting the old enemy about the current Brexit strife.
In one posted on Baggot Street, Joe Schmidt’s heroes are seen standing shoulder to shoulder with the caption: “No stopping these backstops.”
A separate one hung near the Aviva makes England coach Eddie Jones 1:2 on to ‘edxit’ and crash out of the tournament.
One near the Ferryman Pub reads: “Just try putting a tariff on this Irish beef.”
Defending Six Nations champs Ireland take on the 2003 RWC winners at a sold-out Aviva Stadium tomorrow.
