HOLLYWOOD superstar Kate Beckinsale went to a luxury hotel with Jack Whitehall in the early hours after spending the evening together.
Earlier, the couple were snapped snogging at an upmarket karaoke bar.
Kate — 15 years Jack’s senior — was spotted in a steamy nightclub clinch with the comedian before they retired at 3am to a £2,000-a-night LA hotel.
The pair had enjoyed a meal at the restaurant Craig’s, a popular celeb hangout in Hollywood, before leaving separately in a bid to avoid being spotted on Friday night.
Jack, 30, left first and walked two blocks away before being picked up by the Pearl Harbor actress, 45, in her SUV.
She drove them to the Blind Dragon karaoke lounge, where the Travels With My Father star put his arm around Kate — voted Esquire magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive in 2009 — and pulled her in for a passionate embrace.
In the early hours of the morning, Kate — who is teetotal — dressed in skimpy shorts, lacy tights and thigh-high boots, was snapped entering The London Hotel with Jack.
The funnyman, who was dressed down in chinos and trainers, has previously confessed that sex gives him heartburn.
Two months ago Kate, a divorced mother of one, was pictured with on-off American toyboy Matt Rife.
Like Jack, 23-year-old Matt is a stand-up comedian.
An onlooker said: “No one would expect someone like Jack to bag one of Hollywood’s hottest actresses. You couldn't get a more unlikely romance.
“They were like a pair of loved-up teenagers and weren’t trying to hide their feelings.
“They were practically sitting on top of each other in the booth of the nightclub and were laughing with each other.
"Kate rested her hand on Jack’s shoulder and she kept laughing and smiling at his jokes.
“As the night progressed, he seemed to be growing in confidence and put his arm around her and gave her a hug.
“Then he decided to put his hand around the back of Kate’s neck and pulled her across him, where they started to passionately kiss.
“Kate then half-laid across him as they whispered to each other. Then they decided to make a quick exit.”
It’s not the first time Jack — who receives love advice from legendary lothario godfather Nigel Havers — has punched above his weight with an older female star.
Earlier this year, the League Of Their Own panellist hooked up with TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher, 42, at a London club.
After heading back to a friend’s flat for an after-party, they disappeared to a room together.
That fling came after Jack split from long-term girlfriend Gemma Chan, 35, star of Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them, in December, after six years together.
Gemma has since moved on with Mamma Mia! and Preacher actor Dominic Cooper, 40.
A source close to Jack told The Sun on Sunday: “He was really wounded when Gemma went off with Dominic.
“They were in the same circle of friends and it was all very upsetting.
“He will be absolutely delighted that he’s in a new romance with such a beautiful woman.”
Jack has also been linked to pop star Dua Lipa, 23, who he met at a post-Brits bash in February.
Kate’s 12-year marriage to American film director Len Wiseman, 45, ended in 2016 after he filed for divorce.
She shares 19-year-old daughter Lily with her former husband, the actor Michael Sheen, 49, who she split from in 2003.
It looks like Jack has found himself a new leading lady.

NEW mum Eva Longoria is getting parenting tips from BFF Victoria Beckham.
The pair caught up when the Desperate Housewives star hosted her Global Gift Gala, sponsored by The Fragrance Store, at London’s Rosewood Hotel on Friday night.
And Eva told us Victoria – mum to four kids including eldest Brooklyn, who came with her to the bash – has been helping Eva adjust to being a first-time mum, four months after son Santiago arrived.
She said: “Victoria is one of the best mums I know and through the pregnancy to now she has been giving such great advice.
"She’s in love with (Santiago) already. Her and David think he’s so delicious.
“It’s like another family affair! Nothing could prepare me for Santiago and it’s like my heart is walking around outside my body.
"It’s amazing.”
Eva – who was joined at the bash by Melanie C, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Princess Beatrice – revealed Victoria is being lined up as the tot’s godmother.
She added: “My husband and I need to talk about this.
"In Mexico you have 18 godparents but it’s absolutely on the cards.
“I was pregnant when I was here last year.
"Victoria was the only one who knew and was squeezing me into a tuxedo because I didn’t want to wear a dress.
I was falling asleep at the table and everyone was like, ‘What’s wrong with Eva?’
"But I couldn’t say anything because it was still not time to tell.”
