Bizarre unveils X Factor boyband 5am’s new member after our nationwide competition
After scouring the nation high and low, we have chosen former Brit School pupil Brad O'Neil to join the X Factor group after tense auditions held at Bizarre HQ
I’VE scoured the nation high and low, thrown open the competition on Twitter and whittled down the talent to one final member.
Now I can reveal the person 5AM and Bizarre have chosen to replace KIERAN ALLEYNE is former Brit School pupil BRAD O’NEIL.
Eighties sensation SINITTA and 2016 X Factor winner MATT TERRY helped me reach my final verdict during tense auditions at Bizarre HQ.
5AM’s newest member said: “I’m absolutely buzzing. I can’t wait to get working and vibing with these guys.
“I just want to get going with things. I write tracks, so hopefully it will work together.”
Birmingham-born Brad was one of four finalists who auditioned for our competition for a Sun reader to become a member of the 2016 X Factor band, after I unveiled the special contest last week.
He wowed my panel after performing his own track in a head-to-head sing-off against fellow contestant Mason Ray.
He now joins JORDAN LEE and NATHAN LEWIS in the line-up. Fellow X Factor star Matt said: “I feel like it’s a great start with the band.
“Everyone’s going to expect them to go down the same route they were, so this is a great opportunity to take it somewhere new.”
So Macho singer Sinitta has even offered the new trio the use of her home studio in London to get them back on track.
She said: “I think the band is really going to benefit from this. I’ve offered them my studio in Fulham – music studio, dance studio, TV studio. Now they just have to start planning.”
Nathan said: “Brad is completely different from our last member and it gives us the opportunity to go in a new direction.”
This is a competition prize money could never buy. Good luck lads.
