Conor McGregor is a ‘perfect fit’ for us says WWE chief Stephanie McMahon after the UFC star’s boxing debut defeat against Floyd Mayweather
CONOR McGREGOR is the "perfect fit" for WWE, according to Stephanie McMahon.
UFC superstar McGregor is searching for another big challenge after losing his mega-millions boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather in August.
And WWE's chief brand officer McMahon believes the Irishman can be a sensation if he switches mixed martial arts disciplines.
The Mirror reports the daughter of WWE owner Vince McMahon as saying: "I think Conor would be a perfect fit with WWE.
"He certainly has the personality and the athletic ability, the appeal.
"He speaks his mind, he's very genuine and authentic and he has a hell of a Vince McMahon swagger."
Dubliner McGregor, known as the Notorious, 29, is set up for life financially after his hugely-hyped showdown with unbeaten Mayweather in Las Vegas.
But his sporting hunger seems as voracious as ever after that defeat.

And WWE icon Chris Jericho has already described McGregor as a cert to make the move
Jericho told Sports Illustrated in August: "Will Conor McGregor end up in the WWE? I think it’s a no-brainer.
"It might not be this year or the year after that because there’s a lot of money that you got to spend to get him in there.
"But a guy that yappy, who knows the concept of cutting a wrestling promo - I think Conor will definitely end up there, it’s just a matter of when he wants to."
