Man Utd make staggering £30m transfer bid for 16-year-old Jude Bellingham with Birmingham attack top target

MANCHESTER UNITED have offered over £30million for Birmingham’s teenage star Jude Bellingham.

The 16-year-old midfielder, England’s most exciting young talent since Wayne Rooney, will now be the subject of a ferocious price war between football’s superpowers.

All of Europe’s top clubs want to sign Bellingham who has already made 25 appearances this season for the Blues.

United have made it clear they will now pay over the £30m mark but face the prospect of that offer being comfortably beaten by their rivals.

He joined Birmingham as a seven-year old and scored on his debut for the club's under-23s, aged 15.

But now, Europe’s top scouts are heading to St Andrews’ to watch all of Birmingham’s games.

Bellingham currently earns a £145-a-week scholars’ wage but will secure a mind-boggling new contract when he turns 17 on June 23.
