Man City to beat Porto to sign 15-year-old Norwegian wonderkid Oscar Bobb
The 'super-talent' is on the books of top-flight Norweigan outfit Vålerenga Fotball
MANCHESTER CITY are set to pip Porto to the signing of Norweigan youngster Oscar Bobb.
Bobb, 15, is regarded as one of his county’s most promising talents.
Bobb, who is currently on the youth books of Vålerenga Fotball, a top-flight club in Norway, is close to joining the blossoming City Football Academy.
Norwegian source VG claim that that the Premier League champions have already agreed a deal for the youngster.
Bobb is described as a ‘super-talent’ and famed talent-spotters Porto have already tried to sign him on other occasions, only for FIFA to step in and deny the transfer taking place.
These mysterious circumstances halting the transfer never came to light.
Once Bobb turns 16 he’ll be able to move anywhere within EU borders, but with so many top prospects on City’s books it’s believed his decision is already made to come to Manchester.
The latest move comes after SunSport exclusively revealed just last week how City had beaten Arsenal and Wolves to sign 14-year-old Darko Gyabi.
Gyabi, an England youth player, has moved to the Etihad from Millwall in a deal worth around £300,000, with add-ons reaching over £1million dependant on success.
City believe the central midfielder is capable of following in the footsteps of their former youngster turned star Jadon Sancho.
