Who is Scott McTominay? Scotland international and Manchester United starlet who stunningly replaced Paul Pogba away to Sevilla
Versatile midfielder Scott McTominay caught the eye of Old Trafford scouts aged five and played youth football with Marcus Rashford
SCOTT McTOMINAY has stunned the football world by choosing to play for SCOTLAND instead of England.
The giant midfielder, 20, first caught the eye of Old Trafford scouts aged five and is expected to go into Alex McLeish's squad for the Tartan Army's matches against Costa Rica and Hungary.
The call-up comes just two weeks after Jose Mourinho has gave record signing Paul Pogba the proverbial kick up the backside by putting his in youth.

McTominay started his career in attacking midfield but after a growth spurt to him to 6ft 4ins he has dropped into a deeper role to make use of his frame.
And United's website insists ex-Reserves boss Warren Joyce and McTominay believe his future is as a box-to-box midfielder.
Joyce said: “He’s a really good footballer. Technically sound with good skills and excellent in the keep-ball sessions.
"Scott has just burst onto the scene. He could be a proper box-to-box aggressive midfielder and we need to be mindful of that."
Despite being born in Lancaster, Scott looks likely to play for Scotland in the future due to his heritage.
He has already trained with the country's youth sides and revealed: “I’m probably more Scottish than I am English.”
Versatile McTominay can also operate as a centre-forward and while being something of a late bloomer United are clearly excited about his future.
How is Scott McTominay eligible to play for Scotland?
McTominay was born in Lancaster but qualifies for Scotland through his grandparents.
The move should not come as a complete surprise as he told the Man Utd website last year: "I'm probably more Scottish than I am English."
