Wheeler-dealer schoolboy, 15, creates £50k-a-year sweet empire and plans to expand business outside school grounds
Nathan's shop began in the boys' toilets with pupils making orders via Snapchat
A PUPIL aged 15 is raking it in from his £50,000-a-year sweet empire.
Nathan John-Baptiste employs 11 sellers across three schools.
Together they shift £230 of chocs, drinks and chews a day, giving a weekly turnover of £1,150.
Over a 39-week school year they make £45,000, half as profit.
Nathan, dubbed the Wolf of Walthamstow, also sells bath soaps at a market in North London, making £100 a weekend.
He said: “No one has done what I have. Others have sold sweets, I’ve created an empire.”
He was 11 when inspired by a chat from a millionaire.
Nathan said: “Because of the area I was in our school got talks so we didn’t turn to gangs.

“This man called Carl told us: ‘You can be whatever you want.’ That really resonated with me.”
At 12 Nathan started buying multi-packs of Lucozade and Chewits and selling them at break.
Demand was so high he opened a shop in the boys’ toilets, with pupils ordering via Snapchat.
Nathan, who lives with mum Sharon, 43, and dad Peter, 46, is now branching out after teachers asked him to stop selling on school grounds.
He said: “I’ve saved £5,000. I’ll invest in sub-letting property.”
