THIS is the dramatic moment a knifeman who allegedly stormed a London bus and attacked a passenger was disarmed by a have-a-go hero who fearlessly wrestled him.

Footage has emerged of the pair fighting on the number 149 bus in Stoke Newington, Hackney, yesterday afternoon.

The video begins with two men furiously grappling at the front of the bus before the brave passenger rips the blade from the knifeman.

The armed man then quickly made a run for it once he lost his weapon to his victim in front of horrified bus passengers.

The victim can he heard yelling "I’m an African, you never take my life" as he watches his attacker run out of sight.

Met Police confirmed they were called to reports of a stabbing at 1.55pm.

A man in his 20s was found with minor lacerations to his hand and head.

A spokesman added: “He was taken to an East London hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

"He has now been discharged.

“There have been no arrests and enquires continue.

“Police would encourage any witnesses to come forward and any persons that may have filmed the incident to contact the investigation team on 07500 607 652 or the police non-emergency line on 101.”
