AN Aussie rapper named 2pec tried to flee a seafood restaurant without paying his £360 bill - by leaping into the sea, a court heard.
The urban poet had scoffed down two lobsters, a baby octopus and 21 vodka oyster shots during a seafood-fuelled feast.
But after receiving the hefty bill 2pec - the brains behind hip-hop tune Ozi Ozi Ozi Oy Oy Oy - leapt into the sea and tried to swim away.
And when jet ski-riding cops caught up with him, he claimed he had dashed off to help a friend give birth on a nearby beach.
The 33-year-old later suggested the real reason behind his dine and dash bid was the overcooked lobsters he had been served.

A chef at the Omeros Bros restaurant in Surfer's Paradise, Queensland, hit back at the claims.
Mark Hunnybun said: "We pride ourselves on cooking our lobsters perfectly."
2pec - real name Terry Peck - has been charged with theft and assault.
He was also heard to have downed bottles of Mexican lager Corona during the feast.
Peck was granted bail at a magistrates' hearing this morning.
