A MAN with a cement fetish turned up at an address to have concrete poured on him and was attacked with a machete.

But instead, he was ambushed by machete-wielding thugs Craig Dalton, 33, and Matthew Harrison, 23, who admitted the horror attack at the High Court in Glasgow yesterday.

John was chased around the room by the thugs, dragged onto the floor and held down before Dalton began wrapping black tape around his face.

Prosecutor Shanti Maguire told the High Court in Glasgow yesterday: “He recalls some discussion where one of the men said something about chopping him up.”

A judge heard how the victim feared he was going to die as he desperately banged on a window for help.

His ordeal only ended when the pair fled before a wounded John eventually collapsed on the street.

Mr Steven suffered a collapsed lung and slash wounds in the attack.

The court heard he has lost “complete use” of his left thumb and has been left scarred for life.

Miss Maguire said the ordeal has had a “lasting impact” on the victim.
