Motherwell star Louis Moult rejects Rangers and Hibs in favour of a move to Championship side Preston
The Well hitman will join up with former Hamilton boss Alex Neil after being persuaded to sign a pre-contract
PRESTON have won the race to sign in-demand Motherwell striker Louis Moult.
Rangers, Hibs and several clubs down south had been chasing the free-scoring English frontman.
But SunSport understands Alex Neil has persuaded him to pen a pre-contract with the Championship side.
Moult, 25, has been in stunning form for Well for the third season in a row.
He has already netted 14 goals this term after scoring 18 in each of the previous two campaigns.
Moult opted not to extend his Well deal – which runs out in the summer – at the end of last season.

That then allowed him to speak to interested sides from the start of December.
Preston moved quickly to land their man for next season.
But that could yet mean he has played his final game for the Fir Park side.
