Ex-Hearts footballer Lee Makel’s wife arrested over ‘park and ride romp’ with Police Scotland officer Gareth Blair
A FOOTIE star’s wife has been arrested over claims she romped at a park and ride with top cop Gareth Blair.
Claire Makel, 41, faces a public indecency rap following her alleged car tryst with the married chief superintendent.
The mum of two is wed to ex-Hearts and Livingston midfielder Lee Makel, 46.
A police spokesman said: “A 41-year-old woman has been arrested following a report of public indecency in Edinburgh on May 21.
"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”

We told last month how top brass suspended Chief Supt Blair, 48, from his job as Edinburgh’s Divisional Commander over the alleged daylight romp at the capital’s Hermiston park and ride pending a probe.
The dad of one — married to fitness instructor Marcia, 49 — was reported to prosecutors and police watchdogs.
He could also face a public indecency rap.
Retired footballer Makel also turned out for Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, Dunfermline, East Fife and Cowdenbeath during his 22-year career.
He is currently a youth coach at Hibs.
He and his wife both declined to comment over the allegation.
