Manchester United offer trial to winger following Stoke City outing

The 19-year-old played for the Potters against United in an U23 friendly last week

WATCH: Could this be Josh Tymon's breakthrough season for Stoke City?

Manchester United have handed a trial to winger Reda Khadra after he played against them for Stoke City.

The former Borussia Dortmund prospect has spent some time at Stoke this summer and featured in an under-23 friendly fixture against the Red Devils last week.

Stoke lose the game 1-0 but it seems Khadra caught the eye of the opposition.

However, the Daily Mail reports that the 19-year-old was left frustrated after United failed to get international clearance in time for him to play in a friendly against Doncaster Rovers.

The article states that Khadra had to watch from the stands as United's under-23s were beaten 5-0 at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The Germany youth international is a free agent after leaving Dortmund.

He scored in a UEFA Youth League tie against Derby County earlier this year.
