Puel revealed Albrighton need surgery

Leicester winger Marc Albrighton is likely to miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.

Albrighton pulled up in training ahead of last weekend's 1-0 defeat by Manchester United at the King Power Stadium.

Manager Claude Puel revealed the winger needs surgery and is doubtful to be back before the end of the season.

Daniel Amartey also remains out ahead of Sunday's trip to Tottenham - live on Sky Sports - but new signing Youri Tielemans is in contention for his first start since joining on loan from Monaco on deadline day.

Puel also denied he has a problem with Jamie Vardy after the striker appeared to react angrily after the defeat to Manchester United.

"I have a good relationship with him. We know Jamie and after he has lost, he is never happy and that is normal for a player," Puel said.
