Ivan Perisic has handed in a transfer request at Inter Milan after Arsenal had a loan offer rejected for the winger.

Inter director Guiseppe Marotta told Sky in Italy: "Perisic has asked to leave but there is no offer for him. We will see in the coming days.

"We will listen to the request of Perisic, he has put in a transfer request; we must try to satisfy him but also respect the value of him."

Sky in Italy says Arsenal proposed an initial loan for Perisic, with an option to buy for £34.5m, but Inter appear to prefer a permanent move for the Croatia international.

According to Milan-based newspaper Libero, Perisic has agreed personal terms with Arsenal despite the two clubs not agreeing on a loan or transfer deal.

The Sun claims Arsenal are in the running to sign Barcelona winger Malcom on a loan deal. The north London club have reportedly proposed a loan deal to sign the Brazil international as well as Denis Suarez.

Arsenal would reportedly have to pay around £50m if they wished to sign Malcom permanently.

Inter Milan are interested in signing Mesut Ozil on loan, according to the Daily Star, but want Arsenal to pay half of his wages should any deal be completed.

Ozil could be used as part of a potential swap deal for Perisic.

The Sun are also reporting that Arsenal are looking at Pablo Fornals. The 22-year-old is believed to have a £28.5m release clause in his contract and his performances for Villarreal this season are said to have impressed Unai Emery.
