Sam Bird and Georgia Steel have been revealed as the Love Island couple who unexpectedly quit the show.
Mirror TV can exclusively reveal that the pair left the villa after an explosive recoupling.
Sam and Georgia were unhappy with the result so made the choice to walk out shortly after filming.
None of the Islanders could persuade the loved-up pair to stay so they decided to leave
Viewers will get to watch the dramatic scenes play out on-screen during tomorrow or Friday night's episode.
A source told us: "They filmed the recoupling and afterwards Sam and Georgia weren't happy so walked out of the villa.
"None of their fellow Islanders could persuade them to stay.
"The explosive scenes will be aired tomorrow or Friday."
Their fellow Islanders were left completely gobsmacked and had no prior warning about their exit.
It also comes as a blow to the producers who have desperately tried to keep Georgia in the villa, even changing the rules of the Casa Amor twist to let single contestants stay.
The decision comes as a big surprise with less than two weeks left until the grand final - meaning Sam and Georgia have given up on a chance of winning the £50,000 prize money.
Coupling up is a tricky business
Finding someone who is ‘your type’ seems to be short lived in the villa. The threat of the next proper sort arriving and turning your partner's head is always just round the corner.
But there’s no need to prang out because Superdrug’s new mobile network makes it easier than ever to get back out there and graft.
Superdrug Mobile’s new £10-a-month SIM comes with unlimited texts and calls - and gets you double points on all your Superdrug shopping and £10 worth of Health & Beautycard points to spend in-store, meaning you'll look great as you crack on!

They are the second and third stars to walk from the villa this series after Samira Mighty chose to leave to be with Frankie Foster.
Fans speculated Sam and Georgia were the pair that left as they have struggled after being split up.
The couple's blossoming romance hit a major stumbling block when the viewers and their fellow Islanders failed to save them.
Caroline Flack revealed a shock twist which left Georgia and Sam in some distress as they contemplated whether to leave as a couple or split and stay.
They decided that they would take their chances and stay in the villa while they were forced to be apart.
This caused conflict in the villa between best pals Dani and Georgia, who disagreed on her decision to stay.
Georgia stormed off from the argument - leading Jack to label her a "little s***" and Dani to claim she wouldn't speak to her for the rest of the night.
The pair agreed to stay apart but could not keep their hands off each other.
They enjoyed secret kisses and cuddles under the covers on the sofa - prompting Iain Stirling to claim they had 'broken Love Island rules'.
The pressure seemingly became too much for them at the next recoupling as they decided to walk.
The pair will now head home together as a couple and test their relationship in the real world.
Have they made the right choice and will they make it on the outside?
