The League One champions unveiled plans for a new environmentally friendly stadium at the University of Warwick.
It follows the refusal of Wasps to allowed shared ownership of the Ricoh Arena, which the rugby club control.
The two clubs remain locked in talks to potentially allow the Sky Blues to return as tenants next season.
But Coventry have a contractual option to continue playing at St Andrews next term after spending this season at Brum's home.

The University of Warwick have allocated an agricultural site on its main campus at the southwest edge of Coventry.
The club will own and be responsible for the cost of the stadium and receive all the revenues it generates.
Football finance expert Kieran Maguire estimates it will cost around £100million to build a 30,000 capacity green and carbon-neutral ground.
Proposals include a new light rail station at the ground alongside a new link road and Coventry and the university are appealing for partners to work with.
