This is the moment Tony Bellew's wife branded a worker a "f****** queer" and a "dirty f****** fag" in a shocking foul-mouthed homophobic rant.

Bellew, 35, was KO'd by world champion Oleksandr Usyk in the eighth round of his retirement fight on Saturday night.

And following his defeat, wife Rachael Roberts was filmed shouting at a member of the Manchester Arena bar staff.

While in a lift with Ms. Roberts, the worker asked if the fight was over and, learning it was, said: "thank god for that".

Ms. Roberts took offence and, referring to her three sons, screamed: ""They are f****** crying right now you f****** queer - dirty f****** fag."

The worker, who asked not to be named, said: "Her actions were completely out of order for the wife of a celebrity boxer.

"What I asked was not meant to take offence and it was simply a question about the match.

"After we found out that Tony lost the fight, I thought she was using the anger of Tony's loss and directing it at us."

The bar staff left the main arena via the staff and guest lift and were joined by Ms. Roberts, a security guard and another woman.

The man who filmed the incident said: "It had been a busy night and I just wanted to desperately get home after a long shift.

"However, after stepping into the lift with my colleague, I was joined by a woman in a black dress who was accompanied by a security guard and another woman from the boxing sponsor.

"We never knew it was Rachael Roberts.

"As the lift descended from the second floor of the stadium to the ground floor, I then asked if the match had finished because our bar was not in the main arena and so we couldn't see the main actions in the arena."

He said the woman with Rachael said the fight was over, and his colleague then commented: "Thank god for that."

But he claims Rachael replied: "How f****** dare you, do you know who I am?"

His colleague responded "excuse me", he said, and then she started to make remarks about his colleague's sexuality and he started filming.

Bellew has known Rachael since he was nine and the couple, whose sons Corey, Cobey and Carter are all under 13, tied the knot this summer.

Before losing to Usyk in his 34th fight, former world champion Bellew revealed his wife had demanded he quit the sport.

He said: "If I don 't stop after this then she is going to divorce me and I have only been married four or five months."

The Bellews' spokesman told the Daily Star: "Tony and Rachael will be making no official comment.

"Saturday night was an incredibly emotional evening for anyone associated with Tony. Especially his wife Rachael.

"She was provoked by a male member of staff who said 'I'm pleased Tony got knocked the f*** out' causing the reaction shown.

"Rachael is in no way homophobic."
