This is the adrenaline pumping moment a student foolishly ran into the eye of a lightning storm with an electricity conducting aluminum pan on his head.
Dramatic footage shows ferocious lightning strike just seconds after the fearless student pegs it through the car park of a student dorm at the University of Texas in San Antonio.
Screams can be heard as a fellow student catches the action on camera.
But despite the title of the video being " RIP Aluminum Pan Man", it’s been reported that the metal-wearing is alive and well.

One Reddit user, who says he witnesses the incident, said: "The guy under the aluminum pan was alright. His thought process was the pan would block the softball size hail we were getting. He didn't think it through…”
