This disturbing footage shows the far-right group Britain First 'migrant hunting' in a hotel.

The far-right 'cowards' filmed themselves randomly knocking on doors in the Daresbury Park Hotel, in Warrington, Cheshire, and then interrogating anyone who answered.

In scenes that have been branded 'thuggish' by campaigners, the members repeatedly asked refugees which countries they were from.

At one point a Britain First member confronted an Iranian guest in the lobby of the hotel and ranted about his taxes being spent on the man's accommodation.

The cameraman also mocked a Libyan man in the video, comparing his hairstyle to the one sported by Libya's bloodthirsty former dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

A spokesman for Hope Not Hate told Mirror Online: “All responsible and decent people should condemn these cowardly and thuggish tactics of harassment, intimidation and bullying.

"The authorities must take a tough stance and show this behaviour will not be tolerated, but also take immediate action to protect people from this sort of threat in the future.”

The anti-racism group said Britain First is a tiny far-right group that has built up a public profile through stunts and attention-seeking.

The spokesman added: "No-one should be taken in by them. Britain First, other far-right groups and radical right self-styled 'citizen journalists' are looking to exploit the issue of the channel crossings to vilify, enrage and feed hate."

Ashlea Simon, a regional organiser for Britain First, was one of those who took part in the video in Warrington.

Another new Britain First video shows members storming a Novotel in Newcastle and once again interrogating refugees.

However, workers at the hotel managed to usher the refugees away and the far-right supporters eventually left the property.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police told the Evening Standard that officers were called to reports of a potential breach of the peace at the Warrington hotel.

By the time the police arrived the group had left and no complaints were made to officers by anyone at the hotel.

The force said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

Many social media users were shocked by Britain First's latest stunt, which resulted in the group's name trending on Twitter.

One Twitter user said: "An appalling clip of Britain First, migrant hunting.

"Imagine how terrifying this must be for the asylum seekers who are being hounded here.

"They must have thought they'd temporarily found a safe place to lay their heads. But no."
