Greater Manchester will get live music concerts this summer - but fans will have to enjoy the action from a car parking space.

A new drive-in concert series will tour the UK between July and September, with headliners including Gary Numan, Embrace, The Streets, Sigala and Kaiser Chiefs.

The Utilita Live From the Drive-In series will see music-lovers enjoying live gigs from private viewing zones beside their cars.

It will ensure that gig-goers can maintain social distancing from others, but will allow people to dance.

You can see how the event will work in the video below.

The series will visit 12 sites across the UK, including the University of Bolton Stadium.

Other cities will include Leeds, Liverpool, London, Bristol and Edinburgh.

The drive-in experience will also have theatre, comedy, and family events such as interactive science shows.
