Manchester United fans are all saying the same thing about the new home kit

After weeks of kit leaks from obscure locations around the world Man Utd finally have officially unveiled the club's new home kit.

Pictures of Manchester United's new home kit have leaked on numerous occasions in recent weeks but the club finally revealed official pictures of it on Tuesday morning.

Juan Mata, Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku were all snapped wearing the strip, which is now on sale.

Prices for the shirt range from £49.95 for the short-sleeved kids version to £74.95 for the long-sleeved adult version.

The shirt is red, obviously, with black stripes towards the bottom, while the socks take on a similar appearance, but with black at the top and red stripes growing thicker towards the base.

Interestingly, the shorts are black - a dramatic switch-up from the white shorts United have worn at home for decades.

Explaining the black shorts, Inigo Turner, design director at adidas Football, said: "When designing the kit, we wanted to tell the story of the first incarnation of the United kit, 140 years ago.

"Originally, the team wore dark shorts, and we’ve reinterpreted this story in a bold and contemporary way, connecting the past to the future, and combining the very best in performance with street wearability."

Turner's explanation didn't cut it with some United fans, though, and they took to Twitter to post their reaction:
