Manchester City are sweating on the fitness of John Stones, Benjamin Mendy and Gabriel Jesus ahead of Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.
Pep Guardiola revealed all three are 'getting better' as they bid to be fit for the first final of the season and what could be the first leg of an historic season for the Blues.
Stones (groin) and Jesus (hamstring) didn't travel to Germany for the Champions League last-16 tie with Schalke on Wednesday night, while Mendy is continuing to battle a persistent knee injury.
While Guardiola is hopeful all three are close to a return, he believes it is too early to make a decision about their availability for Sunday.
"Tomorrow (Saturday) we will see, the info I have is they are getting better but right now I cannot say if they will be ready for Sunday," the City boss said.
Guardiola also refused to nail his colours to the mast over who would start in goal against Chelsea.
Aro Muric has started every Carabao Cup game so far this season and he was the hero of the penalty shootout win over Leicester City in the quarter-final.
But those are the only senior appearances the 20-year-old has made for City and Guardiola could yet be tempted to turn to Ederson for the Wembley showpiece.
