It's been 11 days since the 'spygate' saga gatecrashed into our lives and it shows no signs of slowing down.

Shortly before Leeds United took on Stoke City on Saturday afternoon the EFL issued a statement saying that 11 of the Whites' Championship rivals had submitted a letter of complaint following Marcelo Bielsa's midweek admission that he had looked in on every club's training sessions this season.

The Argentine's remarkable Thorp Arch media briefing on Wednesday saw the matter again hit the national headlines, with the row acting as catnip for the 24-hour news cycle.

One pundit who has not been shy on giving a host of takes has been Stan Collymore, calling for the authorities to sanction the club and, failing that, urging Leeds' rivals to take legal action .

And now he has shifted his focus onto Marcelo Bielsa's managerial ability.

"I've heard so many people in the past few days banging on about the level of detail Marcelo Bielsa gives to his scouting but, if you've never seen what other clubs do, how would you know if it's unusual?," he has written in his Sunday People column .

"I also keep hearing what a genius the Leeds boss is but I'm struggling to work out why. He's won just one Apertura - the opening half of the Argentine league season - and two Clausuras - the closing half - and the Olympics in 29 years.

"Jose Mourinho has won 24 trophies in 18 years yet we've all been panning him this season rather than handing him acclaim.
