Central midfield is clearly an area where Hammers boss David Moyes should be looking to strengthen this summer.

The Scot currently has Tomas Soucek, Declan Rice and Mark Noble as the only established central midfielders at the London Stadium.

Conor Coventry has impressed during pre-season but he is still very young.

More strength in depth should be something that Moyes is after considering the fact that we will be competing in Europe next season.

West Ham enter talks to sign Glen Kamara

Give Me Sport reckon that the Hammers are currently in talks to bring the 25-year-old Rangers ace from Ibrox to the London Stadium.

Kamara was a crucial player for Steven Gerrard last season, helping Rangers win the Scottish Premiership title.

The Scottish Sun claims that the 34-capped Finland international could be available for around £8 million. That seems like outstanding value to us.

In 28 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers last season, the 25-year-old averaged one tackle and one interception per game. He made 65.9 passes per match on average during those outings and recorded a mightily impressive completion rate of 90.5% (Who Scored).

Gers boss Steven Gerrard is a huge fan of Kamara. He recently admitted that he loves the 25-year-old and described the midfielder as ‘fantastic’ and ‘phenomenal’, as quoted by the Scotsman.

If he is really available for £8 million, West Ham shouldn’t hesitate to sign him.
