Martini is the latest drink brand to get on board with the non-alcoholic trend, as many of us move toward more health conscious lifestyles or simply care to drink less alcohol.
You can now get alcohol-free aperitivo Martini Vibrante; a “fruity aperitivo” created with natural botanicals and Roman Bergamot. It's made with the same wines as Martini's classic vermouths but completely alcohol-free.
Beppe Musso, Martini master blender, explained in a press release: “We carefully remove the alcohol from the wine before adding the botanicals and herbs to preserve the authentic aroma and taste. The result is unmistakably Martini – but without the alcohol.”
Not wanting to consume alcohol doesn't mean you don't enjoy the experience of sipping on a fragrant, flavoursome, thoroughly grown up drink. We now have ever growing alcohol-free options, spared from the 'mocktail' title.
Nick Stringer, global vice president of Martini, said: “In the past, deciding not to drink alcohol meant a fizzy water while everyone else enjoyed cocktails, or staying at home on a Friday while your friends go out and enjoy aperitivo time. But times are changing, and consumers don’t want to feel like they are missing out when they are being more mindful about their drinking."
We can't wait to sit back and enjoy the zero Abv alternative on a balmy summer evening knowing we'll wake up fresh as a daisy. Martini recommend serving a 75ml measure, topped with 75ml of tonic water and an orange wheel to garnish, or served alone over ice.
