That is according to player-turned-pundit Shaka Hislop.

Manchester United forward Rashford has struggled for regular game-time under Jose Mourinho following his breakout season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s arrival and form has resulted in Rashford fighting for a place on the left with Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman has also been linked with a potential loan to the London Stadium, although United are not prepared to let him go.

However, a spell away for Rashford could prove productive to his development.

And former Hammers keeper Hislop believes West Ham would be the ideal club for the 19-year-old to go to.

On a switch to east London for Rashford, Hislop told ESPN FC: "I like him a lot and [moving to the Hammers] would absolutely be a hit.

"There is no better team at bringing through young players than West Ham."

Slaven Bilic signed Rashford’s former United academy team-mate Ashley Fletcher in the summer.

And the young striker has since earned a fair amount of game time at West Ham.

However, if Mourinho allows winger Memphis Depay to exit Old Trafford next month, Rashford may be forced to stay this term.
