Neymar latest

Barcelona are still working on a deal to re-sign PSG star Neymar.

Neymar is desperate to leave the French champions after two years with the Nou Camp his preferred destination.

PSG accept the 27 year-old's decision but will not sanction his departure for less than the £200million they signed him for in 2017.

Despite that, Spanish newspaper Sport claim Barcelona are working on a deal worth £63million plus Philippe Coutinho for the Brazilian.

They will stagger those payments until July 2020 having just signed Antoine Griezmann for £107m.

No deal

Barcelona aren’t interested in selling Ousmane Dembele or Nelson Semedo this summer.

German newspaper Bild recently claimed Dembele and Semedo were part of a three-player exchange deal for PSG star Neymar.

But Mundo Deportivo don’t agree.

The Spanish newspaper say Semedo will be the club’s first choice right-back next season and Dembele, 22, will prove a useful backup for Antoine Griezmann.

Dani Alves pay cut

Dani Alves is prepared to take a wage reduction to complete a move to Arsenal.

Alves, 36, is a free agent having allowed his contract to run down with French champions PSG.

The Sun claim Manchester City and Tottenham have both shown interest in the right back - but Alves wants Arsenal.

He earned £230k-a-week at PSG and The Sun say he could accept less to join Unai Emery in north London.

Nabil Fekir deal

So… where’s Nabil Fekir going this summer?

Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United or Barcelona? Nope - he’s joining Real Betis.

Lyon have reportedly agreed a £22.5million deal with the La Liga side.

Canal+ in France claim the 26-year-old will sign a five-year contract at Real Betis - allowing the club to sanction the sale of Giovani Lo Celso.

Raphael Guerreiro interest

Barcelona are weighing up a move for Borussia Dortmund's Raphael Guerreiro.

That’s according to Spanish newspaper AS, who claim the Catalan giants view Guerreiro as a cheaper alternative to first-choice target Junior Firpo.

It’s believed Real Betis want upwards of £25million for the Spain Under-21 international.

Borussia Dortmund value Guerreiro, 25, at roughy the same price but could be forced to sell cheap with his contract expiring in June 2020.

The next Sergio Ramos…

Barcelona target Junior Firpo could follow in the footsteps of Sergio Ramos, according to former Real Betis youth coach Juan Jose Romero.

The Catalan giants are expected to launch a bid for the Spain Under-21 international, who has also been linked with Jurgen Clop’s Liverpool.

"He is the footballer who most impressed me in his first training session," Romero told Goal. "He looked like a beast of a footballer from the very first moment.

“He could end up having a career similar to that of Sergio Ramos. He also came to Real Madrid and the national team as a full-back, to end up in the middle of defence and, even though Junior doesn't have the defensive power of Ramos as a centre-back, neither did Ramos have the attacking threat Junior is showing."

Neymar to Juventus

Juventus have been linked with a sensational approach for Neymar.

The Brazilian star is desperate to leave PSG after two years in the French capital - and has made his feelings known to executives at the Parc des Princes.

Barcelona are leading the race for his signature - but Rai Sport claim Juventus are now involved.

They claim Juve chiefs will meet with Neymar's father to explore a potential move.

Done Deal - De Ligt signs

Juventus have announced the signing of highly-rated Dutch centre-back Matthijs De Ligt from Ajax.

The 19-year-old, who had previously been linked with Manchester United and Barcelona, has signed a five-year contract with the Serie A champions.

Juve have paid an initial fee of £67.8million for a player who helped Ajax reach last season's Champions League semi-finals and win the Eredivisie title, while reaching the Nations League final with Holland.

At the weekend Leiderdorp-born De Ligt was left out of Ajax's squad for their summer tour to Austria pending a transfer and he arrived in Turin on Wednesday to undergo a medical at Juve's headquarters.

Marc Cucurella agreement

Barcelona have struck a deal with Getafe for defender Marc Cucurella.

The Catalan giants exercised a buy-back clause in the player's contract on Monday - less than two months after Eibar had agreed to sign him on a permanent basis.

But he won’t be staying at the Nou Camp for long.

Goal claim there is an agreement in place for Getafe to sign the 20-year-old left-back for £9million.

£108m Neymar deal

Barcelona are considering signing PSG superstar Neymar on loan with an obligation to buy.

Ernesto Valverde’s side brought Antoine Griezmann to the Nou Camp for £107million from rivals Atletico Madrid last week.

And Spanish publication Sport claim his arrival will make it extremely difficult for Barcelona to meet PSG’s £200m valuation of Neymar up-front.

But there’s a plan.

Sport claim Nou Camp chiefs have started to put together different packages for the star.

One surprise deal would see Neymar move to Barcelona on loan, but with Barcelona having an obligation to buy him permanently next summer.

Wanted - Tailson

Barcelona are plotting a swoop for Santos star Tailson.

The 20-year-old’s contract is set to expire and Diario Sport claim the Spanish champions have offered him a three-year contract.

Tailson, an attacking midfielder, hasn’t made a single appearance for Santos' senior side - but does train with the first-team.

The report claims talks have reached the advanced stages with Barcelona likely to pay Santos £315k in compensation.

Paul Pogba tease

Are Juventus trying to tell us something?

Having completed the £67million signing of Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt - could another marquee deal be in the pipeline?

Juventus have been tipped to bring Pogba back to Turin this summer after the Frenchman revealed his desire to leave Old Trafford.

And this morning - Juve poured fuel on the fire by posting a video of a Paul Pogba goal in pre-season in 2015.

Willian to Barcelona?

Frank Lampard will have the final say on whether Willian gets a new contract at Chelsea.

The winger has just one year left on his Chelsea deal - and Barcelona are keen to take him to Spain in a £30million deal.

The Brazilian, now 30, is yet to join up with Lampard’s Chelsea squad, after playing in Brazil’s Copa America-winning team this summer after a late call-up.

Chelsea are currently in Japan on the second leg of their pre-season tour, but Willian is not due to rejoin them until they return home next week.
