Four points out of a possible six, three goals scored and two matches unbeaten.

On the pitch at least, Sheffield Wednesday are in a better frame of mind since the return of English football.

"There’s nothing like positive energy," winger turned wing-back Kadeem Harris posted on his Instagram page following Sunday's crucial victory at Bristol City.

Jacob Murphy made a very similar comment on one of his Insta posts. Despite the departure of several key senior players, Wednesday have made a bright start to life post lockdown.

But as they prepare to go head-to-head with title-chasing West Bromwich Albion, could their momentum be derailed by yet another off the field distraction?

It has emerged some Sheffield Wednesday players have not been paid in full for June.

Yorkshire Live understands some players spoke to the club about the matter yesterday and were told they will get paid their outstanding money, including loyalty bonuses, in the next fortnight.

The reason for the delay in the wages? It could be a banking error. Maybe there has been a simple mix-up.
