Derby County can confirm the first three pre-season matches that Frank Lampard’s side will face ahead of the 2018/19 Sky Bet Championship season.


The Rams have lined up Premier League opposition at Pride Park Stadium on the final weekend before the new football campaign gets underway.

Lampard’s Derby will lock horns with Nuno Espírito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers, who were crowned Championship champions at the end of last season, on Saturday 28th July, kick-off: 3pm.

Before that, however, the Rams will face fellow EFL opposition as part of their 2018/19 preparations.

First up on the calendar is a trip to Meadow Lane to face Kevin Nolan’s Notts County, Sky Bet League 2 play-off semi-finalists last term, on Saturday 14th July, kick-off: 3pm.

Lampard’s side will hit the road again in the week leading into the Wolves game, making another short trip to Nuneaton to take on League 2 Play-Off winners Coventry City at Liberty Way on Wednesday 25th July, kick-off: 7:45pm.
