Boss Ian Murray says Airdrieonians aren’t planning a raid of Dumbarton duo Stuart Carswell and Calum Gallagher.
The Diamonds have been linked with Sons Player of the Year Carswell and striker Gallagher after a busy week in the transfer market for the New Broomfield men.
However, the Penny Cars Stadium gaffer has ruled out a move for the pair, and says he is satisfied with their early summer business.
“We’re really happy with the business in the window so far,” Murray told the Airdrie and Coatbridge Advertiser.
“We’re glad we could get Adam in, and that circumstances could be worked out with both himself and Forfar. Callum Fordyce is another one who can bring experience to the squad.
“For a large part of the season we were defensively sound and we can now build on that.
“There are still two or three that we are looking to add in the next couple of weeks.
“We are waiting for them to get back to us, like a lot of clubs at this point in the summer.

“I would say that the link with Stuart (Carswell) and Calum (Gallagher) has probably come about because I had them at St Mirren. They aren’t players we are looking to bring in just now.
“Calum has a good bit of pace. They are both decent players and were part of the group that helped Dumbarton get out of a difficult situation last season, along with the likes of Dom Thomas, but not for us just now.”
Two players going through the exit door are Scott Stewart, who heads to Arbroath, and Kieran MacDonald, who switches to League One rivals Raith. Both players had been on the transfer list as they are in the final year of their deal.
