In-demand Odsonne Edouard is reportedly wanted by English Premier League side Brighton this summer.

The English Premier League side appear to have entered the race for the talented attacker as he approaches the final year of his contract.

The Daily Express report the Frenchman is high on Graham Potter's wish list and The Seagulls "have already registered their interest."

The south coast side are set to net £50million by selling England star Ben White to Arsenal, and want to splash the cash on the 23-year-old

An agreement with Leicester was seemingly in place earlier in the window with an offer on the table of around £18million, however Brighton are reportedly willing to top that offer.

The report adds the club "won’t be held to ransom" if Celtic play hardball.

The Celtic Park chiefs have shown so far this summer they are willing to hold out for top dollar, with a bumper pay day on the cards when Kristoffer Ajer signs for Brentford.
