Hibs skipper Liam Craig targets 24 points from 24 to pile pressure on rivals Hearts at the top of the Championship

CRAIG helped Hibs to a 3-1 win at Raith on Saturday and reckons his team mates have to now go on a ruthless run over the festive period if they are to claw back runaway leaders Hearts.

LIAM Craig insists Hibs can still clinch the Championship title – if they win eight on the spin to put pressure on runaway leaders Hearts.

The Hibees came from behind against Raith on Saturday to record successive league victories for the first time in 2014.

Next up is a home clash with Rangers before Alan Stubbs takes his side to Tynecastle for a New Year clash with their city rivals.

Those two matches could effectively determine whether Hibs are in the hunt for title success or will have to settle for the play-offs.

If the Jambos win away at Cowdenbeath tomorrow then the Easter Road men will be 19 points behind the leaders going into the crunch double-header.

But skipper Craig has not given up hope of climbing to the summit.
