MailOnline has contacted the Metropolitan Police and Linda's representative for comment.

Only recently, Linda has lost more than two and a half stone in weight after ditching alcohol and sugar, after admitting to drinking a bottle of wine a night.

During a candid Loose Women discussion, the Birds Of A Feather actress claimed she didn't have a problem with alcohol, but feared her nightly tipple could have led to a serious health issue.

She said: 'I used to drink a bottle of wine a night. I didn’t have a problem but now I think about it, it could have easily turned into one.

'That is a lot to be drinking. I didn’t think it was an issue as I didn’t need it when I woke up.'

It wasn't until Linda entered the Australian outback in 2012 for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here that she was forced to give up alcohol, and it subsequently led to the start of her weight loss.

Meanwhile, also on Loose Women, Linda previously revealed that her son Louis self-harmed and battled depression after the murder of his best friend Ben Kinsella.

The actress recalled how she and her husband, Mark, were 'really worried' about their then teenage son, after they found out that he was 'marking his arm' and refused to leave his bedroom.

Louis, 26, had held a dying Ben, just 16, in his arms after he was stabbed 11 times outside a north London bar in 2008.

Speaking on Loose Women, Linda revealed how Louis eventually went away on a retreat to receive treatment for his mental health, and now, ten years later, is coping well with the loss.
