'They were oozing green pus': Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson admits she looked like she had been 'attacked by an animal' following botched boob job

She's been honest about her surgical transformation since starring in MTV's Geordie Shore.

And now Marnie Simpson has revealed that her breasts oozed 'green pus' following a botched boob job in 2014, that left her with 'deep' wounds.

The 24-year-old - who is set to appear on an upcoming episode of Celebrity Botched Up Bodies - went under the knife over two years ago to lift her bust and change the appearance of her nipples after she became insecure about her looks.

Opening up about her horrifying surgical experience, she claimed that following her procedure it looked as though she had been 'attacked by an animal'.  

She said: 'I had big wounds which were oozing. They were oozing green pus. They were really deep gashes, it looked like I had been attacked by an animal.'

Getting candid on the show, the Northern beauty admitted appearing on MTV's Geordie Shore compromised her confidence, prompting her since to get lip fillers, botox and a nose job.

She said: 'I was really confident and liked myself more before 'Geordie Shore'. Being on TV put pressure on to look good...It made me feel so insecure. It is such a shallow industry that you compare yourself to everybody else.

'The criticism and the grief you get from people is so awful. It was just every little thing that I wasn't happy with.' 

Speaking to MailOnline in 2014, a then 22-year-old Marnie divulged the real reason behind her boob job.

She said: 'I've had a breast uplift and had it done earlier this year. I had it done for two reasons, firstly because my boobs were not in good shape, I had one higher than the other and it massively affected my confidence.  

'I've absolutely not had any implants put in at all, I just had my boobs lifted and levelled so they both sit at the same size. The second reason is that the first time in my life I've been able to afford the costs.'

Having surgical enhancements so young, she then came under fire from former castmate Vicky Pattison in November 2014, who was shocked by the number of procedures she had.

She admitted to Now Magazine: 'It shocks me when I look at Marnie. She’shad her lips done, Botox and a nose job and I just think: "You're 22, lass".'

But since her ordeal, Marnie has undergone corrective surgery to repair her botched bust in 2015.

Speaking about the corrective surgery, she told the Daily Star at the time: 'The bandages are finally off and I can already tell my boobs are going to be sooooo much better.

'It'll take months for them to be properly healed, maybe even a year until the scar tissue is less noticeable, but I am proper pleased with how they look.' 

Recently, Marnie left hordes of Instagram users shocked and appalled, when she took to the picture-sharing site to boast about her new lip fillers.

Sharing a side profile shot of herself, she thanked her Harley Street cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Robert, for his handiwork in 'getting my lips all curled just how I like them,' before branding him 'amazing' and expressing her 'love' for him.

However, while the image attracted more than 20,000 likes in under an hour, it didn't sit well with many of her 2.4million followers, who were far from impressed with her enhanced pout. 

'Stop doing things to ur face,' one user protested. 'You are a beaut without make up or any work done so stop wrecking ur face!! You are a stunner and need Nothing done 2 urself!! X (sic).'

Echoing that sentiment, another stated: 'Trout pout - sorry but you were so naturally pretty before!! You didn't need all the fake stuff!! And that's how you liked to promote yourself!! I think it's a shame. Still think your great though!! xx (sic).'

Another took a more diplomatic approach, opting to share a few words of warning with the party-loving MTV star: 'You are so beautiful but once u start playing with your lips your beauty disappears..bad move..shame (sic).'

The stream of comments prompted some fans to jump to Marnie's defence, with one writing: 'Who gives a f**k if she has lip fillers?? Do y'all get off on making pathetic comments and shaming her? At least she's open about it. Focus on your own faces.'

There were also others who had nothing but nice things to say about the Geordie lass's look, with a number branding her 'stunning' and 'beautiful'.
