Rhian Brewster hits the treadmill as injured Liverpool youngster continues comeback after a year out with injury

A year ago, Rhian Brewster was the most talked about teenage star in English football, before he suffered a serious injury.
Now, the Liverpool striker is on the comeback trail, with the 18-year-old back in training at the club's Melwood facility.
As the senior squad trained outside, Brewster was pictured running on the treadmill, his pace and progress closely monitored by a member of the coaching staff.

Brewster looked happy to be back, grinning and gesturing to the camera as he entered the gym, ahead of taking another step towards full fitness.
In 2017, Brewster was part of the England side that won the Under-17 World Cup - with Jadon Sancho among his team mates - and picked up the Golden Boot as tournament top scorer.
However in January 2018 he was landed awkwardly during an Under-23s game against Manchester City and was stretchered off. He required two operations after tearing ligaments in his knee and ankle.
However Brewster remains tipped for the top by Liverpool, who handed him his first professional contract in July.
They remain hopeful he could make his senior debut at some point this season, and it is likely we will see Brewster alongside Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino before too long.
Brewster's progress has been encouraging - as well as being able to run in the gym, he has also been out on the grass and kicking a ball in light sessions at Melwood.
Initial hopes of a return to action before Christmas proved over-optimistic, however excited Liverpool fans should not have to wait too much longer.
